Color Spotlight: Think Bananas

Think Bananas was one of our first Yarn + Games colorway.  It is based on the word tile game Bananagrams.     Available on all yarn bases and skein sizes, this fun banana yellow, brown, and cream colorway is a great pop of color for accessories, socks, and modular blanket projects. For larger knit or crochet projects, Think Bananas pairs well with Natural, Cream, Bear, and Espresso.

Color Spotlight: Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.

Do you recognize the name?  You might if you are a fan of The Office.  Bears Beets Battlestar Galactica has shades of brown, burgundy, and gray.  You know, for the bears, and the beets, and the ship. Find it in the shop here on your favorite yarn base.   Bears Beets Battlestar Galactica pairs well with Espresso and the solids Clouds and Bear for larger knit or crochet projects.

Color Spotlight: Traditional Christmas Colors Yarn

Last time, we shared our movie inspired Christmas colors.  This week, we have more traditional red/green colorways for your holiday knit or crochet projects.     The 25th is a red, green, and white mix with a tiny bit of yellow for the star at the top of the tree. Christmastime is a mossy green with splashes of a deep red. These colors are available on multiple yarn bases every year starting in November.  They will be re-dyed through December to keep them in stock, but then they will be gone until the next year!

Color Spotlight: 2018 Christmas Colors

This week I am going to show you the inspiration behind our six 2018 Christmas movie-inspired colorways.  These are currently available in the shop, but won't be dyed again so grab yours now!     34th Street has various shades of gray, with areas of red and white. This colorway, as you may guess, is from Miracle on 34th Street.  "Oh, Christmas isn't just a day.
