A solar equinox occurs twice a year when the sun hits the equator straight on. On the equinox, day and night are equal lengths (12 hrs) all over the globe.
Unlike equinox days this drapey cowl is not equal - it’s asymmetrical with the point tilting to the right when worn. It's the Unequinox!
Unequinox is an asymmetrical right triangle with a short seam in the back.
This pattern is suitable for a beginner who knows basic stitches and decreases.
