The December 2023 Countdown advent-style hand dyed yarn kits from The Woolly Dragon are here! A treat for knitters and crocheters, enjoy a mini skein of yarn every day from December 1st to December 24th.
The themes and colors for the countdown kits this year are "Cozy Christmas" and "Shiny Brite". You can get a feel for the yarn colors from the images below.
You can use your mini skeins in a large striped project, such as a shawl or sweater, by combining them with out coordinating or accent colors to add to your package. Use one or two minis as accent stripes on a larger project such as bands on sleeves, an accent collar, or motifs in a multicolor blanket.
Or try making smaller projects. Maybe a mini banner garland or a few stripy hats, mittens, or socks.
There are limited quantities of each kit. Mini skeins are available in your choice of fingering weight yarn such as Sock, Twist, Ultra, plus DK yarn.
Full size skeins are available to accompany your kit choice, plus a mohair yarn named Fluff. You can add full size skeins to your box in a color that coordinates or contrasts with your kit theme colors.
